Conveyance is the legal transfer of ownership of the home from the vendor to the buyer.
It begins by accepting an offer and ends by handing over the keys. Exchange typically requires eight to 12 weeks (when the agreement becomes legally binding). a) Instruct a solicitor or conveyor

e) Reach completion
The buyer will pay the final balance to your solicitor on the day of completion. If you are component of a chain, in succession all these payments will be produced one by one. Friday is a famous finishing day as it provides you the weekend to settle in. But if you finish mid-week, the lawyers and estate agents are less likely to be so tied to other clients, so if there are any problems you won't have to wait for the entire weekend to sort it out. f) Re-register title deeds
Your conveyor will settle your account with the property officer and your mortgage lender. The conveyance of the buyer then records the change of property within five weeks of completion with the Land Registry.
